Lunches and Parentpay
School dinner at Churchfield Primary School is provided by Enfield Catering Services and we follow a menu system that repeats every 3 weeks (menu can be seen below). Our school meals are cooked on the premises fresh daily.
Information on lunches and to view all menu’s please visit a very useful website called MySchoolLunch: http://www2.myschoollunch.co.uk/enfield
Our school uses the Parentpay system for payments of lunch money and other transactions (i.e. trips and breakfast club). In order for a child to have a lunch or pay for any other items, they need to be set up with an account online and their account activated. Individual barcoded letters will be sent home for each service. School does not take cash for meals etc. School also has a No Debt Policy and request that you are always in credit for your child to have meals.
Please note: If you use Paypoint to pay for your child’s meals, this must be done 3 days in advance to ensure the funds are available in time.
If you have any queries regarding payment letters, your account or balance please speak to the School Office.
If you would like to change from school dinner to packed lunch or vice versa you must notify us in writing giving 1 weeks notice. You will NOT be able to change meals daily.
Universal Free Meals
All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be able to receive a school meal at no cost. All children in these year groups can/will receive a free meal and does not depend on your household income or whether you receive any benefits.
Free School Meals
If you think you may be entitled to free school meals, please either visit the link to the website: (http://www.enfield.gov.uk/downloads/file/11631/free_school_meals_application_form_2015) to apply for free meals or come to the School Office to collect an application form or make an enquiry. Additional funding is made available for every eligible child so school can improve facilities and learning activities.
Children may bring their own packed lunch; these must be provided in a suitable container. No glass bottles. It must not contain unhealthy items such as fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate. We are a ‘Nut Free’ school due to allergies, so no items containing nuts should be in your child’s lunchbox.
